CTG Podscast Ep001 - What makes a "Good Instructor"
So what DOES make a “Good” instructor? While answers of “Who” may vary, that topics of WHY is rarely debated. New Information isn’t what we’re talk about, but how we apply the fundamentals at a high level.
A SOLID Instructor can Clearly Articulate a Point, in Multiple Ways, to Various types of Learners. Some people need points spoken, some need pictures and visual aids, some ned to just see it and feel for themselves. Can an Instructor articulate his point clearly, each one of those ways?
What about to Multiple skill levels? Ive had to Instruct someone on their first few months of Practical Shooting, next to a GM who’s been shooting USPSA for a decade. Neither were more or less important to me. Nor did one get more or less time. Each got their own breakdown, instruction, and follow up throughout the class. ALL levels of Skill should leave the class eager to continue what they learned- and it doesn’t necessarily need to be the same thing.
